Quay Street – Bulimba

A modern twist on the traditional timber became the theme for this small lot house. With its backyard as the Brisbane river; framing views from within the house became an overriding concept.
A terraced floor plate was introduced to both define the open plan spaces of the ground floor and allow optimised views through to the Brisbane River. A parents retreat situated river side of the first floor becomes the perfect place to watch the sunset over the city.
